iHerb Singapore Shipping Options

Some readers has asked about alternate shipping option rather than Singpost for iHerb. Maybe they dont like Singpost. Personally, I have a positive Singpost iHerb shipping experience.

Anyway, below are the 2 options for iHerb shipping to Singapore:

SingPost - our trusted national Singapore Post is now available at iHerb and is the recommended option(cheaper mah). It is a flat fee of US$4 for up to 14 pounds(6350g). Value of purchase can be up to US$200. Take 4-8 business days and with tracking number some more. Really value for money :)

How about purchase above US$200 or more than 14 pounds? I also dont know as I always keep my iHerb purchase below these 2 limits. If need to buy more just break your purchase into 2 order lah. Btw, do take note that if your parcel value exceed SGD$400, you need to pay GST! So be smart and keep the parcel value below SGD$400.

DHL Express - International is also available at iHerb as a faster shipping option to Singapore.(but more expensive- no fee lunch one lah). For just a flat fee of just US$8, you can ship from iHerb to Singapore using DHL Express in 2-4 days! Of course it come with tracking number and can carry up to 8 pounds. $8 for 8 pounds... hummm, maybe iHerb or DHL know we from Singapore love the number 8. Huat Ah!!!!

So in conclusion, choose Singpost if you are not in a hurry and want to save money. DHL express if you need to save time or dont like Singpost. Either option, I feel the iherb shipping cost to Singapore is pretty reasonable and affordable. If you take some time to browse the iHerb website and compare the prices with our local prices in Singapore, you will find that most products are cheaper in iHerb than in Singapore. So do yourself a flavor by shopping in iHerb today for your super supplements or organic groceries!

First Order with iherb.com from Singapore Review - Part 3

Really busy with kids and work this few weeks so Part 3 of my review for the iHerb order to Singapore is late. Anyway, I took some photos of the parcel when it arrived on that day.

The iherb parcel comes in a normal brown paper box.

Upon opening, I found my order of 6 ChildLife, Probiotics with Colostrum Powder, Natural Orange/Pineapple Flavor, 1.7 oz (50 g) and 1 ZOI Research, Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil, 1,000 mg, 30 Softgels. There is also a complimentary iHerb measuring tape which I guess is for those who wants to lose weight or build muscle.

A little bit about the products I ordered.

The ZOI Research Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil costs only $1 when I ordered as it is on discount. Now it cost $9.95. iHerb usually will have some products on huge discount. So everytime you go to iherb to make your main purchase, be sure to check out the discount pages to hunt for bargain. Who knows, you may find some organics product or Manuka honey on great discount.

The ChildLife, Probiotics with Colostrum Powder, Natural Orange/Pineapple Flavor, 1.7 oz (50 g) is my main iHerb purchase which is for my child to boost his immunity. Originally, I bought from Singapore GNC and 1 bottle cost $78.50 (you do get discount if you buy 3 bottles). $78.50 is expensive for me, so I have to find a cheaper source. I found iHerb and The ChildLife, Probiotics with Colostrum Powder cost only US$23.95. After discount, it is only US$18.44. That is a huge saving from buying Colostrum Powder in Singapore!

As you can see from the picture, the ChildLife Colostrum one on the left is bought in Singapore GNC and the Colostrum on the right is from iHerb. There is no difference between the two as both are originated from USA. The two bottles are identical except that the one sold in Singapore have a "keep refrigerated" sticker label on the bottle cap. (Singapore is in perpetual summer, really warm! That's why have that special label.)

The six bootles of ChildLife Colostrum should last for quite some time. I will ordered from iHerb again when those Colostrum are finished.

But as a returning iHerb customer, I won't get the $10 discount. But I think returning customers still get 5% discount for order above $60 if I am not wrong.

Anyway, if you have not order from iHerb before, be sure to use this discount coupon code MRV946 during your iHerb checkout to get the $10 discount. My advice is to die die order above $40 so that you get the $10 discount. Once in a lifetime for first iherb order only, don't miss it.

First Order with iherb.com from Singapore Review - Part 2

This Part 2 of the review of my first shipment from iherb.com to Singapore. I ordered from iherb.com on 27 April and shortly the next day 28-Apr-2014 07:42, the product was dispatched from their warehouse and a tracking code was send to my email address. Initially, I thought using Singpost as a shipping option for iherb will not have any tracking code but I was wrong. Singpost option do provide a shipping code.

The shipping code is from http://customer.cjgls-asia.com/

On 2 May, I checked the tracking code and I have a shocked. My first shippment from iherb.com to Singapore using Singpost is marked as Delivery Failed/No such person/name on 02-May-2014 20:34. I doubled checked the delivery address and it is correct. And I am sure on 02-May-2014 20:34, there is someone at home to received the iherb parcel. I was starting to get worried and was wondering if iherb.com is a scam!

I get the tracking code(HAWB No.) iherb emailed me and checked it on Singpost website
http://www.speedpost.com.sg/index.php?quickTool=TrackItem

But I still get the same Failed Delivery/No such addressee or company status. Luckily, there is a contact information on the Singpost site.

Customer Care

(+65) 6222 5777 (when calling from outside Singapore)

    Operating Hours

Since they are already closed for the day, I have but no choice to call Singpost the next day (3 May) early in the morning at 820am. There wasn't long waiting time and I get thru the line within minutes. The Singpost customer service officer confirmed again my address and contact number and say that they will redeliver the iherb parcel to me.

Finally the parcel from iherb arrived at my place at 03-May-2014 12:26. Less than a week since I ordered from iherb.com using Singpost as a shipping option. Pretty fast and I am very satisfied with the purchase from iherb. I will talk more about what inside the parcel in Part 3 again  as it is now late. Need to rest.

If you urgently need to order from iHerb, you can use this iHerb discount code MRV946 on your checkout. As a new customer, you can get $10 discount if you order over US$40 using the iHerb code  MRV946.
