Where to buy authentic traditional mooncakes in Singapore

Mooncake (月饼/月餅/yue bing) is a Chinese bakery product traditionally eaten during the Mid-Autumn Festival.

Below are two traditional mooncake bakeries which have a long history in Singapore.
Forget about the modern style hotel mooncake and go traditional mooncake this year.
Since both of the shops are in Chinatown, do visit them both and compare which one you like best:)

Tai Thong Cake Shop
大同饼家
da tong yue bing
Address: 35 Mosque St, Singapore 059513
Phone:+65 6223 2905

This one is really old school, don't even have a website(or I did not managed find it).
If you like traditional mooncakes, this is one of the most authentic one. Especially like it's no frills packaging which means you are paying for the mooncake rather than for the elaborate packaging.
